This includes your name, email address, phone number, company name, MC/DOT numbers, and payment information. We also collect data automatically when you use our platform, including IP addresses, device identifiers, browser type, and usage logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve our platform; to process transactions and dispatch freight loads; to verify carrier compliance and authority; to send you operational notifications and updates about your shipments; to respond to your comments and questions; and to comply with our legal obligations.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information with carriers and shippers as necessary to execute a freight transaction. We may share data with service providers who assist in our operations under strict confidentiality agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption for all data in transit, bcrypt hashing for passwords, and HttpOnly JWT cookies for session management. Documents uploaded during onboarding are processed entirely in-memory and are never written to persistent disk storage.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal, compliance, or fraud-prevention purposes.
